The person infected with coronavirus is Jahangir Alam (32). He is a resident of the West Muktarkul village in Cox’s Bazar Sadar upazila union Jhilangja. Upon leaving the house, Jahangir saw Salamat, a merchant at the Link Road station, today. At that time, he attacked Salamat as a strategy to collect the money owed. He hugged her and said: “I will die in Corona, you will also die.”

At this time there was a commotion at the Linkroad station. People started running saying “Corona Iyer, Corona Iyer”. Panic also spread among the locals.

Complaint against Jahangir

There are several charges against Jahangir, a CNG-powered taxi dealer. Treat people recklessly. Furthermore, even after being infected with the coronavirus, he wandered the streets without being isolated. He has also been recklessly riding a motorcycle in the Link Road station area for the past two days.

The president of Jhilangja Union Parishad Tipu Sultan confirmed the matter. He said: “We have been frustrated with Jahangir’s reckless behavior on several occasions due to his reckless behavior. The locals are in trouble as he does not obey the blockade and rides a motorcycle from time to time.

Tipu Sultan further said: ‘After Corona tested positive, Sadar Upazila Nirbahi (UN) official last Sunday advised Jahangir to seek isolation treatment at his home. Finally, he carried out a ‘crown attack’ on a businessman to recover the money that was owed to him.
