6 Retired and On Duty Army Members Die in Corona: ISPR

This information has been given in the press release sent by ISPR Deputy Director Kashedul Alam Khan on Monday. The four retirees who died in Corona were over seventy years old, according to the statement. All six victims suffered from incurable physical complications.

According to the notification, 345 military and civilian people have been admitted to Dhaka CMH so far. 6 of them have returned home completely healthy.

The statement says that since the onset of coronavirus infection in Bangladesh, the military has taken adequate measures to treat affected army personnel. The Armed Forces Institute of Pathology (AFIP) has 3 and the CMHs in other barracks have 10 RTPCR machines to analyze coronaviruses of authorized members of the army and their families. So far, 3,194 samples have been analyzed at AFIP.

All MHCs have adequate stocks of medical equipment, including masks, PPE, gloves and essential medications, according to the statement. At the same time, the presence of a full-time doctor has been confirmed.
