A banker died in Chittagong with crown symptoms in a moving private car at around 11:30 am Monday.
This banker’s name is Jamshed Haider Chowdhury. He was Assistant Vice President (AVP) of NCC Bank, branch of Agrabad, Chittagong. The last time he was at work was April 27.
Jamshed Haider was the son-in-law of former NCC Bank President and Awami League leader Waji Ullah Bhuiyan. Her home is in the embassy building in Mehedibagh, Chittagong.
Jamshed Haider’s brother Zia Haider told Prothom Alo that his brother had a fever for three to four days. Shortness of breath also begins. He was rushed to Fauzdarhat BITID Hospital in a private vehicle this morning after his condition worsened. The doctor there told him to take him to the Chittagong Medical College. Jamshed died in the car on the way to the medical center.
Zia Haider said: “Jamshed’s wife also has a fever. We assume that both are infected with a crown. But the faujdar’s doctors did not treat my brother. My brother died in the car.
NCC Bank Agrabad branch manager Kislay Sen told Prothom Alo that Jamshed had a heart condition. But he also had a fever three or four days ago. Short of breath. It is not possible to say what caused his death before the crown identification test.
Meanwhile, preparations were underway to bury Jamshed at Garibullah Shah Cemetery in Chittagong City. Until this report was written this afternoon, Jamshed’s body was kept at his father-in-law Wazi Ullah Bhuiyan’s home in Amirbagh, Chittagong.
