A young man from Siddhirganj in Narayanganj died of fever, cough, and shortness of breath. The family complained that he could not be admitted even after visiting several hospitals due to Corona’s symptoms. And after hearing the news of the boy’s death, his father was also in mourning.
Son Rimon Saud, 24, and his father Yar Hossain, 60, died at Dhaka Medical School Hospital on Monday morning. Their home is in the Sardarpara area of Siddhirganj.
Narayanganj City Corporation Director of Health. Sheikh Mostafa Ali told The Daily Star: “Rimon has had a fever, cough and shortness of breath for the past few days. For this he went to Dhaka and had the crown tested. He was at home waiting for the report. He was brought emergency to Dhaka Medical School Hospital on Sunday morning when his condition deteriorated. Doctors on duty declared him dead. After receiving news of his death, Yar Hossain went to the Medical School Hospital of Dhaka Dhaka to see his son, where he also died suddenly.
The official, who is also a member of the District’s Crown Prevention Committee, said he could not be reached for comment. The young man was not taken to the Corona Hospital in Narayanganj. Now the process of burying the body continues in collaboration with the city corporation.
Rimon’s cousin, Masum Saud, told reporters: “Rimon himself got into the car on foot around 3 am. He could not be admitted to any hospital in Dhaka due to fever, cough and shortness of breath. Later We took him to the Dhaka Medical School Hospital, where he died around 6 am His father died an hour later.
