The father died an hour after the son’s death. The incident took place in the Sardarpara area of Siddhirganj Ward 5 in Narayanganj. As soon as this incident became known, the shadow of mourning fell over the area. Family members said they were taken to different hospitals in Dhaka due to symptoms of the crown, but were not admitted.
An hour after hearing news of the death of a boy named Rimon Saud (24) with crown symptoms in Siddhirganj on Monday morning, Father Haji Yar Hossain (70) died of a heart attack.
Haji Yar Hossain was the chairman of the Sardarpara Mosque Committee in Siddhirganj.
Rimon Saud samples have been tested for symptoms of the crown, such as fever, cough, and shortness of breath. However, no report has yet been received.
His cousin Masum Saud said that Rimon Saud could not be admitted even though he was taken to different hospitals. “When I felt sick around 3 in the morning, my cousin Rimon Saud got up from the second floor of his house and got into the car,” he said. Later I took him to different hospitals in Dhaka, but he was not admitted to any hospital due to fever, cough and shortness of breath. We finally took him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where he died around 6 a.m.
After that incident, father Haji Yar Hossain was unable to bear the pain of his son’s death and suffered a heart attack. He was rushed to Dhaka Medical School Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries at around 8 a.m.
