In the last 24 hours, 1034 more coronavirus infected patients were identified in Bangladesh. With this, the total number of identities in the country stood at 15,691.

This information was provided in the health department’s regular health bulletin regarding coronavirus on Monday afternoon. The online newsletter was presented by the Additional Director General (Administration) of the Department of Health, Prof. Dr. Nasima Sultana.

According to the online bulletin, 7,207 samples were analyzed in 36 laboratories in the last 24 hours.

Everyone is urged to follow proper hygiene rules to prevent coronavirus infection.

As of Sunday, 6 new cases of coronavirus were identified. Earlier in the day, 638 people were identified on Saturday and 609 on Friday. In addition, 607 people last Thursday; 790 people were identified last Wednesday; 6 people last Tuesday; 8 people last Monday; 85 people last Sunday; Last Saturday, 552 people were reidentified and last Friday, 561 people were reidentified.

The first patient in the country to be infected with the new coronavirus (Kavid-19) was identified on March 8. On March 17, the first person to die from the coronavirus.
