On Sunday, the country’s railway minister Piyush Goyal said on Twitter that tickets would only be cut through the IRCTC starting at 4 p.m. of Monday. The station’s manual ticket counter will be closed.
According to the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Railways, 15 pairs of special trains will operate from Tuesday. This service will connect other cities in the country from Delhi. That list includes West Bengal, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Jammu, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Orissa, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and Tripura.
The guidelines state that, in the context of hygiene, passengers with a confirmed ticket can only enter the New Delhi station. All passengers must come after the mask. Passengers will be examined at the station entrance. Those with crown symptoms will not be able to go.
