Police are recovering the body of a forest boy

According to sources, Mobasher Hasan, son of Mohammad Alam from the Naikpara area of the Bhaulaganj union. The five-year-old boy had not been found since noon on Friday. Some local women claimed to have seen the boy ride a bicycle with the neighboring teenager Mithu at noon. In this situation, when they called Mithu and asked him, he denied the incident.
The father of the missing Hasan lodged a GD at the Debiganj Police Station on Saturday. Locals turned Mithu over to police on suspicion that night. Later, during interrogation, Mithu confessed to having killed the boy. Mithu said the body was thrown into a garden four kilometers away after Hasan was called and strangled. Later on Sunday morning, the police recovered the body of a Betbagan boy in Domar upazila in the Nilphamari district. The teenager Siam Hossain Mithu, arrested in connection with the murder of a boy, is the son of Ashikur Rahman Swapan from the same area. Mithu is a ninth grade student at Haji Azhar Ali High School in Bhaulaganj.
Debiganj Police Station OC Rabiul Hasan Sarkar said: “The body has been recovered with information given by the arrested Mithu.” The sharp knife with which the boy was killed has been recovered. A murder case is presented in this regard.
