Baul Sukumar Bairagi lives with his family in the Bishwanathpur village of Sonatala upazila in the Bogra district. He was born in 1956 into a Vaishnava monastic family. The practice of singing began from the family in childhood. Her grandfather used to sing in the villages with Lord Bairagi. He used to go to different places in town with his grandfather to listen to music. Thus was born his love for music. The family lives on what he achieves by singing.
