Internationally renowned historian and professor of modern history Hari Basudevan is in critical condition after being infected with the coronavirus. He is being treated at a private hospital in Salt Lake, India.

Doctors said Hari Basudeban, 8, received life assistance due to severe shortness of breath.

Hari Basudevan, a resident of the CD block in Salt Lake, initially suffered from fever. Later, he was admitted to a private hospital in Salt Lake City with shortness of breath and a sore throat. If the crown is examined quickly after seeing symptoms, positive results are obtained.

He was placed on life support on the advice of doctors due to the increase in respiratory problems on Friday. Bidhannagar police have closed the area around Hari Basudeban’s home in Salt Lake after receiving a positive report from Corona. Five members of the historian’s family have been instructed to remain in quarantine.

He taught modern history at the University of Calcutta for a long time. In addition, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad was the director of the Institute for Asian Studies, Calcutta. These internationally renowned historians have several books.
