A fire broke out at the Khwaja Hafeez Mohinuddin Hawkers Market in Chaumuhani Bazaar of Beakumganj Upazila in Noakhali at 9pm on Friday, burning 10 stores in ash. Affected traders said around 1 crore rupee has been lost due to this. Upon receiving the news, 3 units of the Noakhali Fire Service took control of the fire within 2 hours.

The fire burned assets and cash at 10 stores, including RFL plastic showrooms, pharmacies, fishing nets, clothing stores, tailors, fast food stores, and bus counters. Montu Nath, owner of the damaged pharmacy, said the Tk 1 crore assets of 10 stores were burned in the fire.
