According to the press release, it was decided to form relief committees in 139 districts of the northern and southern city of Dhaka, under the leadership of the Awami League, following the instructions of the Prime Minister. It has been decided to include a member of the police in each ward committee. The meeting also discussed the issue of coordinating the distribution of aid articles. During the meeting, which lasted about an hour and a half, it was decided to take a firm stand against the police.
President of the South Dhaka Metropolitan Awami League, Abu Ahmed Mannafi, Secretary General Humayun Kabir and President of the North Dhaka Metropolitan Awami League, Sheikh Bazlur Rahman, Secretary General SM Mannan Kachi and other leaders participated in the meeting.
