Due to the coronavirus outbreak, the government has again reduced the number of transactions at all banks in the country during the general holiday.

At bank branches that are open under limited-size banking services, transactions will take place from Sunday to April 12 from 9 a.m. at 12 p.m.

Sirajul Islam, executive director and spokesman for the Bank of Bangladesh, told the media that the number of coronaviruses in the country is increasing. A coronavirus infection has been detected in the body of an officer at the main branch of the Agri state bank.

Previously, the daily transaction period from April 1 to April 3 was 9 a.m. at 5 p.m.

Due to the coronavirus situation in the country, the government announced a general holiday until April 3 along with weekly holidays. At that time, the bank transaction deadline was 9 a.m. at 12 p.m.
