ODI captain Tamim Iqbal wants to lead Bangladesh on the path shown by Mashrafe bin Murtaza

In addition to leading the ODI team a few days ago, the Mashrafe bin Murtaza captaincy relied heavily on insight. Mashrafe used to be successful using some unconventional ideas. Tamim Iqbal always jokes: “Brother Mashrafe has gin.”

After Mashrafe, Tamim gained leadership of the ODI team. The left-handed starter wants to lead the team as shown by the former captain. But the problem is where will Tamim get Mashrafe’s “gin”?
Tamim chatted with Mashrafe on Facebook live for about an hour last night. In the chat of the two star cricket players, various problems arose on and off the field. Tamim and Mashrafe discussed leadership for a time. There, Mashrafe advised Tamim to lead.

Tamim jokingly searched for Mashrafe’s gin in the chat: “I always thought you had a gin or something with you. If you agree not to issue a spinner. You just remove the wicket from the roulette. I may be a captain like you, but where do I get the gin from?

In the last BPL, Tamim and Mashrafe played for the same Dhaka Platoon team. Mashrafe managed to bet on several matches there. Such examples are always present in the national team. Tamim said: ‘In BPL you let Mehdi sneak in front of Fletcher. I agreed but you gave, so Mehedi got the wicket with the second ball. The same happened with the Riyadh brothers. Ato, you say, “teeth teeth”. Brother has special power here.

Mashrafe said he had managed to believe his decision. The former captain also asked Tamim to have full faith in his decision: “ If you were the captain, then you may not have turned around, right? This is your specialty. My mind says, so I cast spinner, that’s my specialty. You have to believe in yourself. I am sure you will succeed with your specialty.

In the chat, Tamim recalled the firing of Virender Sehwag in the 2007 World Cup match against India. Mashrafe or Sehwag were told to leave the length, but again 10 days before the match. On game day, Mashrafe fired Sehwag for entering. Mashrafe once told Tamim to wait another six months for the next century. Exactly 6 months and 3 days later, Tamim got another century.

Also, the story of Mashrafe’s mischief with Tamim’s bat was also chatted. “If you give me a bat, you’ll get a century,” said Mashrafe, taking Tamim’s expensive bat for free. If Mashrafe gets the bat or Tamim really gets a century!

The two star cricket players of the national team also spoke about the failure of the Bangladesh team in the 2019 World Cup. The Tamim and Mashrafe World Cup did not go very well. They both think that Bangladesh would have played in the semifinals if they had played 25 percent better than their World Cup performance. Tamim-Mashrafe also called Shakib Al Hasan, who had an incredible performance at the last World Cup, a legendary cricketer in cricket history.
