Dhaka: Nine buses caught fire in nine different places in the capital. The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) said that vehicles and public transport were set on fire with the purpose of deteriorating the situation of public order and violence.
According to the DMP, several people involved in the fire have been identified.

Dhaka Metropolitan Police, Deputy Commissioner for Media and Public Relations (DC) said. Walid Hossain said government vehicles parked for violent purposes and public transportation on the road were set on fire. The police are seriously investigating the incident of arson in government vehicles and public transport on the road. Several people have been identified as involved in the fire incident. Legal action will be taken against them. Try to find those involved in the violence by looking at all the CCTV images in the vicinity of the scene. Security has been tightened in the capital after the incident. Checkpoint patrol has been increased. Now the situation is under control.
