Dilip Kumar Biswas was riding a motorcycle at a speed of 60 km from Khidirpur towards Prinsep Ghat. Suddenly Dilip Babu increased his speed to overtake two young motorcyclists. He lost control when he passed a bus near Prinsep Ghat at high speed. The vehicle lost control and collided with a post on the side of the road.

Although he had a helmet on his head, Dilip Babu was seriously injured. The grandson also fell on the road. The two were taken to the SSKM Hospital in critical condition. Dilip Biswas died there.

According to the Kolkata Police, Dilip’s home is on Pashupati Bhattacharya Road in the area of ​​the Behala Police Station. The bicycle (WB20-AT-71) has twisted after the accident due to high speed. His autopsy was reported on Saturday.
