Dhaka: In the last 24 hours, 6 more people have died from the corona virus in the country. A total of 214 people have died in this. 636 people have recently been identified. In total, the number of victims is 13,060. 313 people have recovered. A total of 2,414 people have recovered.
On Saturday (May 9) at noon in the health bulletin Additional Director General (Administration) of the Department of Health, Prof. Dr. Nasima Sultana gave this information.
He said 5,248 samples have been collected in the past 24 hours. 5 thousand 465 have been tested. A total of 1 lakh 18 thousand 919 have been tested.
He added that 8 people died in 24 hours. They are all men. Age analysis shows that there are two people between the ages of 61 to 60, two people between the ages of 61 and 60, one person between the ages of 51 and 60, two people between the ages of 41 and 50, and one person between the ages of 31 and 40.
Nasima Sultana said 198 people have been isolated in the past 24 hours. There are 2,117 people in total isolation. In the last 24 hours, 1,755 people have gone to home and institutional quarantine. To date, 2 lakh 8 thousand 405 people have come in isolation.
He said 615 institutions in 64 districts across the country are preparing for institutional quarantine. Institutional quarantine services can be provided to 30,955 people in these institutions immediately.
He said there are 6,734 isolation beds across the country. There are 2,900 in Dhaka. There are 5,834 beds outside of Dhaka City. There are 329 ICUs and 102 dialysis units.
