He was speaking to reporters inside Air Force One, a plane that carried US President Donald Trump to Wisconsin during the election campaign, Reuters reported.
He did not say which countries were considering normal relations with Tel Aviv, but said that three of them were in the Middle East and surrounding areas.
He did not agree to elaborate on this.
The United Arab Emirates and Bahrain signed an agreement to normalize relations with Israel at the White House last week, mediated by Trump. At the same time, Trump indicated that some countries would sooner follow suit.
Many observers have suggested that Oman may be among the new countries willing to establish relations with Tel Aviv. The Ambassador of Oman was present at the signing ceremony of the Israel-UAE-Bahrain Agreement at the White House.
Saudi Arabia, an influential US ally in the Middle East, has also indicated that it is putting pressure on Israel. Trump hinted on Tuesday that Riyadh could eventually strike a deal with Tel Aviv.
