In addition, there are 20 universities that have more than 10 percent and less than 15 percent homeless students. And less than 10 percent of homeless students have been enrolled in nine colleges.
At present, there are 48 government and autonomous universities in the country. The UGC said that data from national universities, open universities, Arab Islamic universities and four medical universities were not necessary for its purposes. The remaining 39 universities have included homeless students. The total number of students in these universities, rich and poor, is 3 lakh 3 thousand 98 people.
