Haji Selim has 11 advisers on the advisory board
A full committee of the Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League has been formed. The name of the organization’s 75-member committee was announced Thursday, nearly a year after the conference. Of these, 41 are new faces. Barrister Sheikh Fazle Nur Taposh, Mayor of Dhaka Metropolitan South City Corporation, has been named the number one member of the Executive Committee.
There are several former leaders of the Chhatra League and the Juba League as fresh faces. In addition, 34 members of the previous committee have been included back on the committee. Some of them have been promoted. There are some people in the above post. Despite the ban imposed by the Central Awami League, 11 councilors, including three reserved members, have been appointed to various positions on the committee. 26 leaders, including MP Haji Selim, have been appointed advisers to the committee.
Abu Ahmed Mannafi was elected president and Humayun Kabir was elected general secretary at the Awami Metropolitan League South Dhaka conference held on November 30 last year. The full committee has 11 vice-presidents, three joint general secretaries, and 23 secretaries. Of this, 36 people have become members.

Earlier, Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League Secretary General Obaidul Quader approved the committee in full. He expressed his hope for the full committee and hoped that all newly elected committee members would strive to fulfill their duties with dedication, discipline, sincerity and honesty and that they would make the Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League a more organized and stronger organization with the united efforts of all.
