On the one hand, 39 countries including Germany, America, United Kingdom. On the other hand, China and its allies in Cuba, Pakistan and several countries in Africa and Arabia. The two halves of the world were embroiled in a heated debate at the United Nations. China is at the center of the debate.

Germany submitted a proposal to the UN last Tuesday. There has been intense dissatisfaction with China. From attacking Uighur Muslims in Xinjiang province to China’s aggression in Tibet, the current situation in Hong Kong, the deprivation of civil rights in mainland China, Germany has attacked Xi Jinping on a variety of issues.

But this is not the first time that Germany has attacked China. German Chancellor Angela Merkel raised the issue with the Chinese president at a meeting of the European Union just days ago. But Tuesday’s incident took another turn.

39 major countries have signed the resolution presented by Germany to the United Nations on Tuesday. Including United States, United Kingdom. There are most countries in the European Union. Never before have so many countries united against China.

China is naturally very angry with Germany’s move. As a result, they came to the UN to get their support. Accompanied by several Arab and African countries, including Pakistan and Cuba. The Chinese representative to the UN then attacked Germany in strong language.

He said that what Germany had proposed was unfounded. China does not treat its citizens unfairly. What Germany says is purely an internal matter for China. China is not responsible to anyone for this.

China has been at odds with Muslims Uighurs, Hong Kong and Taiwan for the past few days. Country after country opposes China on this issue. Xi Jinping has not been liked by the whole world by enforcing special laws in Hong Kong. The conflict with Taiwan has also come to light.

Recently, the Taiwanese government announced Taiwan Day in various Indian newspapers. China has also expressed strong dissatisfaction with that.

China’s relations with India have been said to be long-standing. Along with India, China has adhered to the “One China” policy. India should not do anything to commit to that policy. Newspapers in India should follow the one-China policy.

India replied that all newspapers in the country operate independently. The government has no right to interfere there. Deutsche Welle
