The estimated market value of the seized yaba is Rs 1.16 million Tk. The huge quantity of yaba was seized on Friday morning based on secret information through the joint efforts of Custom House, Dhaka Preventive Team and Civil Aviation.

The matter has been confirmed by Maruf Ahmed Khan, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of the Custom House Preventive Party, Dhaka. He said that the yaba was hidden inside the garments. Yaba was seized from three boxes of 349 boxes of ready-made garments exported to Saudi Arabia.

According to the export bill, an exporter named Siam and Somi Enterprise is mentioned as an exporter of goods. Whose address is in the Khilgaon area of ​​the capital. The importer of this product is Apariz International, an organization based in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.

After the shipment was seized, the Narcotics Control Department was informed and its representative came and confirmed the matter to Yaba. The case is being processed under the Law of Control of Customs and Narcotics.
