32 deaths in 24 hours, 1,355 identified, 12,748 evidence

In the last 24 hours, 32 people have died from coronavirus in the country. Seven thousand 52 people have died so far.

At the same time, 12,748 samples were tested for antigens and RT-PCR, and another 1,355 corona-infected individuals were identified. Considering the test, the detection rate is 10.63 percent. With this, the number of identified patients increased to four lakh 90 thousand 533 people.

This information has been disclosed in the press release delivered by the health department on Sunday afternoon.

Of the 32 people killed in the last 24 hours, 24 were men and eight were women. In the analysis by age, one of them is between 21 and 30 years old, three between 31 and 40 years old, one between 41 and 50 years old, seven between 51 and 60 years old and sixty between 20 years old. Another 3,394 people recovered within 24 hours. So far, four lakh 20,696 people have recovered. In total, 29 lakh 69,630 samples have been tested so far.

The notification further said that, considering the total number of tests in the country, the identification rate is 16.52 percent. The overall recovery rate is 85.70 percent and the mortality rate is 1.44 percent.

According to the government’s Institute of Pathology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR), the first case of coronavirus was identified in the country on March 8. On March 17, the first death was reported.
