The Bangladesh Islamic Movement volunteers have guarded the Islamic Movement sculptures and murals in Barisal so that no wrongdoer can attack the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s sculptures or murals.

The scene was seen during a pre-victory rally organized by the organization’s Barisal district and metropolis on Fazlul Haque avenue in the city of Barisal on Wednesday afternoon.

At that time, volunteers from the party led by Charmonai Pir were seen on the hills of the temples located in the area including Sadar Road, Fazlul Haque Avenue.

Confirming the matter, KM Shariatullah, central publicity secretary of the Student Movement of the Islamic Government, said that the Islamic Movement of Bangladesh has organized a rally in the city on the occasion of Victory Day.

However, we have provided our volunteers for site security so that no wrongdoer can blame us for attacking the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman sculpture or mural and the temple or church.

He said a total of 300 volunteers were deployed to these locations for safety during the Islamic Movement program.

Mufti Syed Muhammad Faizul Karim, Senior Naib Amir of the Islamic Movement of Bangladesh, said at the rally that the true freedom fighters knew very well what the position of Muslims was in the liberation war. Statements are not required to test it again.

However, I would like to give a message to those who use the symbols of Islam to distort the identity of the anti-liberation racekars in order to distort Islam, be careful.

Don’t try to tarnish Islam to cover your Razakar insignia, the result will never be good.

At the same time, I would like to ask the government of Bangladesh to use Islamic symbols to identify the Razakars in various stories, movies, dramas and documentaries based on the liberation war and try to correct those producers and protect the honor of their father.

Shaykh Charmonai further said that Islam was one of the dominant forces in building and managing the liberation war. Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra has presented the liberation war as “Jihad in the way of Allah”. Islam was the motivation of the freedom fighters on the ground in the context of that radio station announcement.

Even Major MA Jalil, the commander of Sector 9, used to visit my grandfather Maulana Syed Eshaq (Rah.) Regularly, pray and ask for advice on how to conduct the liberation war.

Not only that, people from the surrounding Hindu community, including Charmonai, took refuge in our Charmonai Madrasa for their own safety and were safe.
