The police claim to have arrested two people who were directly involved in the attack on UNO and his father at Ghoraghat in Dinajpur.

The criminals entered the government building of the Upazila Nirbahi officer at midnight on Wednesday and attacked.
A joint RAB and police team called for an investigation after the incident. On Thursday, detectives from Dinajpur DB arrested Palash, a night watchman at UNO’s residence, for questioning.
They then arrested Jahangir and Masud Rana from Ghoraghat on the basis of secret information and arrested the main defendant Asadul Haque from the Hili border area of Hakimpur upazila in Dinajpur this morning.

Meanwhile, Jahangir Alam, coordinator of the Juba League, Asadul Haque, member of the Juba League and Masud Rana, leader of the Juba League Ghoraghat Singra Union, came out for questioning after the incident.
Meanwhile, the Juba League of the Dinajpur district has expelled Masud Rana and the other two have been expelled from the Center.
The decision was made after locals brought charges of extortion, harassment and drug use against them, said Rashed Parvez, president of the Juba League of the Dinajpur District.
He said that they would never again be allowed to associate with any affiliate of the Awami League.
UNO’s brother Wahida Khanam filed a lawsuit against the unidentified persons yesterday at the Ghoraghat Police Station.
