Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has launched three utensils in front of Tejgaon BG Press, Nabisco or Kohinoor Chemical Junction and the Banani Chairman Bari area to alleviate traffic congestion in the capital.

The DNCC opened all three uteri on Sunday.

Anisul Haque, the late former mayor of Dhaka North, took the initiative to build the womb to ease traffic congestion in the capital. DNCC is building 10 Uttara House Building to Tejgaon Satara. When construction work on all three was completed, it was opened to traffic. At the beginning of the project, there were plans to build a total of 11 U-turns, but the U-turn adjacent to the Army Golf Club was canceled.

Previously, DNCC had released three more uteri. They are Kawla Flying Academy, in front of the Uttara RAB-1 office and Uttara Jasim Uddin Junction.

Construction work is underway on the remaining four uteri. These are in front of the Mohakhali Interdistrict Bus Terminal, under the Mohakhali Overpass, under the Banani-Kakli Train Station, and under the Banani Overpass.

Although the approved cost of the original project was Tk 24.63 crore, after the first amendment, the estimated cost of the project was Tk 31.70 crore.
