The RAB-2 has arrested three people, including “top terrorist” Saiful Islam from the Mohammadpur area of the capital. RAB-2 Assistant Principal (Media) ASP on Friday noon. Abdullah Al Mamun confirmed the matter. Previously, they were arrested in the Mohammadia Housing area of Mohammadpur on Thursday night.
The detainees said. Saiful Islam (48), his associates Hanif (38) and Monir Hossain (26). They were seized a gunshot song, 64 pieces of yaba, one lakh, 8,542 rupees in cash and 9 mobile phones.
According to RAB sources, the arrested Saiful is an identified terrorist from the Mohammadpur area. He had long been involved in extortion and drug trafficking. He and his two accomplices were arrested on the third floor of house No. 109, Highway No. 4, Mohammadia Housing on the basis of the allegations.
ASP Abdullah Al Mamun said that Saiful has a construction house called ‘SI Enterprise’. He used to occupy land, drug deals and extort money from his associates behind that organization.
