The Upazila Parishads to be chosen are Sherpur in Bogra district, Raninagar in Naogaon, Ishwardi in Pabna, Bera, Debhata in Satkhira, Bagharpara in Jessore, Sadar, Goalanda in Rajbari district, Brahmanpara in Comilla and Begumganj in Noakhali.
The municipalities are Palashbari in Gaibandha, Rajoir in Madaripur, Sadar in Faridpur district, Madhukhali and Bancharampur in Brahmanbaria.
The 14 Union Parishads are Dantbhanga, Bandaber, Charsoulmari from the Kurigram district, Daldali from Bholahat upazila from the Chapainawabganj district, Uttar Ulania from Mehendiganj upazila from the Barisal district, Gotashia from the Manohardi district of the Narsingdi district and Vedharganjpurjpur district. Rajiura of Sadar upazila, Baramchalam of Kulaura upazila of Moulvibazar district, Ramchandrapur north of Muradnagar upazila of Comilla district, Magban of Sadar upazila of Rangamati district and Union of Bara Thali of Bilaichhari.
The Electoral Commission had postponed several local government elections since March due to the Corona epidemic. Although general elections have recently been held in some unions, upazilas and district councils, most of them are by-elections. The Electoral Commission wants to start the municipal elections for next December.
