According to the Health Department, 29 districts of the country are at high risk of coronavirus infection. Monday (March 29) at a virtual press conference of the Department of Health, the Additional Director General Prof. Mirzadi Sebrina Flora told reporters.

These 29 districts include Dhaka, Chittagong, Narayanganj, Gazipur, Munshiganj, Madaripur, Shariatpur, Feni, Chandpur, Nilphamari, Sylhet, Tangail, Rajshahi, and Naogaon.

Professor Dr. Mirzadi Sebrina Flora said that the districts have been identified as ‘risky’ when analyzing the data received by the MIS branch of the health department as of March 24.

When asked what measures would be taken to prevent infection in these high-risk districts, Professor Sebrina Flora said there is a district-level crown monitoring committee. The committee will decide what action will be taken in the affected districts and the department will monitor the matter.

Director General of the Health Department, Prof. Abul Bashar Mohammad Khurshid Alam said that the coronavirus infection has spread in 29 districts of the country. Corona infections are spreading rapidly in people around the world. It cannot be controlled if 100% of the people in the country do not follow the required hygiene rules, including the use of masks.

Note that on March 6 of last year, the first coronavirus infection was contracted in the country. After November 30, the infection continued to decline until mid-February. But with the number of patients identified daily since the beginning of March, the number of deaths has steadily increased. Corona was found in the bodies of 5,161 people in a day on Monday, the highest since the start of the epidemic.
