According to the Department of Health, in the last 24 hours, 9,912 samples have been analyzed in 114 RT-PCR laboratories, 24 gene expert laboratories and 29 rapid antigen laboratories throughout the country, which means a total of 18 laboratories. So far 31 lakh 71,910 samples have been tested.
Considering the sample test in 24 hours, the detection rate is 7.29 percent, so far the total detection rate is 16.05 percent. The recovery rate is 8.6 percent and the mortality rate is 1.47 percent.
So far, 25 lakh 18 thousand 83 samples have been tested under government management. And 6 lakh 54,228 have been under private management.
Of those who have died in the last day, 18 are men and 8 are women. Twenty-three of them died in the hospital and one at home.
Fifteen of them were over 60 years old; 6 were between 51 and 60 years old, 1 between 41 and 50 years old and 1 between 31 and 40 years old.
Among the dead were 17 residents of the Dhaka division, 3 residents of the Chittagong division, 2 each, a total of 4 residents of the Khulna and Rangpur divisions.
Of the 6,452 people killed so far in the country, 5,065 are men and 1,006 are women.
