19 industries in six categories have received the President’s Industrial Development Award-2018. The Minister of Industries, Nurul Majid Mahmud, presented the award on Monday to the top executives of the companies of the Sonargaon Hotel in the capital.
British American Tobacco Bangladesh won first prize in the large industries category. The second award went to Incepta Pharmaceuticals. Olympic Industries and Energypack Engineering are third parties together. Tafrid Cotton Mills won first prize in the art middle class. Together, Eco-Tex and Sheltech Technology ranked second. Envoy Fashions won third prize. In the small industry category, Concept Knitting, Messrs. APS Design Works and Summit Oil and Shipping Company received awards.
In the micro art category, Trim Tex Bangladesh, Moscow Overseas and Crimson Rosela Seafood have won awards. In the cottage industry category, Classical Handmade Products, Intelligent Cards and Fairytale Cottage Industry Development Corporation and in the high-tech industry category, Service Engine and Metatude Asia Limited received awards.
