In the last 24 hours, 19 people have died from coronavirus in the country. So far 6,997 people have died.

At the same time, 18,323 samples were analyzed using antigen and RT-PCR to identify another 1,064 corona-infected individuals. Considering the test, the detection rate is 11.54 percent. With this, the number of identified patients increased to four lakh 6,649 people.

Of the 19 people killed in the last 24 hours, 13 were men and six were women. In the analysis by age, one of them is between 21 and 30 years old, one between 31 and 40 years old, four between 41 and 50 years old, two between 51 and 60 years old, and 11 are over 60 years old. Three thousand six more people have recovered in 24 hours. So far four lakh 14,317 people have recovered. In total, 29 lakh 44,252 samples have been tested so far.

In addition, it was reported in the notification that considering the total number of examinations in the country, the identification rate is 16.56 percent. The overall recovery rate is 74.93 percent and the mortality rate is 1.43 percent.

According to the government’s Institute of Pathology, Disease Control and Research (IEDCR), the first case of coronavirus was identified in the country on March 8. On March 17, the first death was reported.
