Bangladesh is not following such a policy even though countries around the world have made it mandatory to keep UK passengers in a mandatory 7-day institutional quarantine after the introduction of the new coronavirus in the UK.

After landing at Sylhet MAG Osmani International Airport with 175 passengers returning to London on Thursday morning, they were all ordered to remain in home quarantine and sent to their respective homes.

Said the Manager of the Osmani Airport. Hafiz Ahmed said 185 UK passengers who had arrived in Sylhet from the UK had been screened and sent to home quarantine as there were no new instructions.

He said Bangladesh Biman flight BG 202 with 175 passengers direct from the UK landed at Osmani airport at 9:08 am. They have all brought tax free certificates from the UK and sent home from quarantine as there are no signs of corona even on initial medical exam here. He also said there was no need to take anyone to institutional quarantine as there were no corona symptoms on his body.

Recently, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson announced the discovery of a new coronavirus. Since then, new features of the coronavirus have been debated around the world. The World Health Organization (WHO), however, advised the world to be aware of the new virus without fear.

The new coronavirus is spreading at a rate of 80 percent, according to international media reports. They are also discussing whether the vaccine will work in the case of the virus.

The major vaccine manufacturers on the market say their vaccine will also be effective on new types of corona. A preliminary analysis of the new characteristics of the virus has been published and 16 major changes are known to have occurred in it.
