In the past 24 hours, 14 more people have died of coronavirus infection in the country. One thousand 41 people have been recently identified. So far, 283 people have died in the country due to this. In total, 16 thousand 73 people have been identified.

Dr. Nasima said 14 more people have died in the country in the past 24 hours due to a corona infection. They are 11 men and three women. The dead were between 21 and 60 years old, five from 51 to 60, five from 41 to 50, one from 31 to 40 and one from 21 to 30.

Of the 14 new deaths, nine occurred within Dhaka and five outside Chittagong in Chittagong.

Dr. Nasima said 7,738 samples have been collected in the past 24 hours. Of these, 4,958 are within Dhaka and 2,071 are outside Dhaka. And 7,392 samples have been tested. Of these, 4,058 are within Dhaka and 2,704 are outside Dhaka. Of these, 1,041 people have been identified as corona patients.

So far, 18,073 crown patients have been identified in the country. And so far a 51 thousand 930 lakh samples have been tested.

In the context of isolation, it was reported that in the last 24 hours, 201 more people have been taken into new isolation. At the same time, 6 people received relief from isolation. There are currently 2,560 people in solitary confinement. So far 1,396 people have been exempt from isolation.

The number of isolation beds in the country is reported to be 8,734. There are 2,900 in the Dhaka metropolis and 5,734 in different hospitals outside of Dhaka city. In addition, 500 isolation beds are being prepared at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital and 200 more in the Mymensingh Nursing Room. Apart from this, the hospital preparation work is also underway.

Information on quarantine is also provided in the bulletin. In the last 24 hours, 3,031 people are said to have gone to home and institutional quarantine. At the same time, 2,296 people obtained exemption from quarantine. And so far a total of two lakh 30 thousand 73 people have been quarantined. And so far one lakh 74,759 people have obtained quarantine exemption. After launch, there are currently 46,014 people in home and institutional quarantine.

There are 618 institutions ready for institutional quarantine at the district and upazila levels across the country. According to the bulletin, 31,165 people can be served immediately through this.

According to the bulletin, in the last 24 hours, 151,502 calls have been received from the health department’s health window and the IEDCR hotline. Health tips have been given to everyone on these calls. So far, 52 lakh 16 thousand 57 people have received health advice on the hotline.

In the past 24 hours, the number of newly trained doctors has increased to eight more. With this, the total number of trained doctors is now 15,841. In addition, 4,006 doctors are volunteering to the hotline for health advice, according to the bulletin.
