India is building a 100 km long tunnel from Ladakh to Kashmir.
Ten tunnels are being built for military and civilian vehicles to reach Ladakh and Kashmir. The total length of these is one hundred kilometers.
Despite China’s frustration with the rapid development of Indian infrastructure in the border area, there have been no delays in the construction of the tunnel, Indian officials said. Some of these tunnels are being built at an altitude of 18,000 feet from the beach. India News Today.
After India divided the state of Jammu and Kashmir into three regions, it undertook various development activities there.
Furthermore, development work in the border area has gained momentum after at least 20 Indian military personnel were killed in clashes and clashes on Ladakh’s border with China.
As part of this, 10 100-km long tunnels are being built. This will facilitate rapid military communication, logistics in case of confrontations and border problems.
It will also boost economic activity and improve the standard of living for people in ruined border areas.
On October 3, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Atal Tunnel. This reduces the distance between Minali in Himachal Pradesh and Leh in Ladakh.
In the same mountainous region, 12 months of communication are also created. Previously, it was not possible to maintain communication in remote areas due to various seasonal problems.
