Until now, under the supervision of the District Civil Surgeon in Dhaka, samples from foreigners were being collected at the temporary Covid-19 Isolation Center at the DNCC Market in Mohakhali and test certificates were being issued.
Outside of Dhaka, 13 more districts such as Barisal, Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Comilla, Narayanganj, Khulna, Kushtia, Mymensingh, Bogra, Rajshahi, Dinajpur, Rangpur, and Sylhet used to issue Covid-19 certificates to foreigners.
Passengers wishing to travel abroad must present a sample 72 hours before the start of the trip. At this time you must submit a copy of the passport and ticket. Original passport and ticket must be shown. The samples were analyzed in a government laboratory and reported 24 hours before departure.
Since July 20, foreigners were charged a fee of Rs 3,500 after the start of coronavirus tests. On August 24, the government reduced the rate to 1,500 taka.
