Ten agents and employees of the Mind Aid Hospital in Adabar, the capital, have been arrested for the murder of Deputy Superintendent of Police (ASP) Anisul Karim.
Mohammad Harun Aur Rashid, deputy commissioner of the Tejgaon Police Division, said this at a press conference around 12 noon on Tuesday. The press conference was held at the office of the Deputy Commissioner of the Tejgaon Police Division in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the capital.
Haroon Aur Rashid said that his father had filed a case at the Adabar police station on Monday night alleging the murder of Anisul Karim. In this case, 10 officials and employees of the hospital have been arrested. They have been in preventive detention for 10 days.
The detainees are Arif Mahmud, hospital marketing director, Redwan Sabbir, coordinator, Tanvir Hasan, suspected pharmacist, Wardboy Jobayer Hossain, Tanif Mollah, Sajeeb Chowdhury, Asim Chandra Pal, Liton Ahmed, Saiful Islam, and Chef Md. Masood.
Harun Aur Rashid said that Adabar Police Station police are investigating the case. They think it’s murder. The detainees have confessed to the murder to the police.
