In place of the semi-main event at the AW All Out, Chris Jericho and Orange Cassidy competed in the first ever Mimosa Mayhem match. According to the rules, the desire to win a match is by throwing a pinf, l, submission or your opponent into a huge mimosa.
Notes written in real-time during the match:
They had mimosa vats on either side of the ring. In the opening seconds, Cassidy collapsed near the code breaker as soon as he charged Jericho and Jericho. There was a nearby phone call when Jericho made a slingshot move that led Cassidy to the top rope and almost into Mimosa. Jericho then threw a table over Cassidy’s head and then smashed a cocktail tray over his head.
Cassidy knocked Jericho off the platform and then stripped him off the platform. Cassidy then sent Jericho to the barricade but Jericho fought again with chairs over his body. They were fighting through a table on another platform near Mimosa Watt and Jericho Powerbombed Cassidy. Jericho was going to use a baseball bat, but Cassidy grabbed him with a jaw superkick. Cassidy also hit him in the head with a champagne bucket, which threw Jericho back into the ring. The action continued in the ring but there were many times when Cassidy almost fell into Mimosa.
Cassidy continued the crime until Jericho could face the Jericho of the walls. The ass ladders were able to go on the ropes but the ropes did not break in this match. Cassidy managed to grab Mimosa’s glass and threw it at Jericho’s face to break the grip. Cassidy hit the Superman punch and then he knocked Jericho to the top but Jericho didn’t go all the way into Mimosa.
There were a few more near the falls, Jericho tried to get into the mimosa by not licking the ass stairs, but Cassidy stopped him. Jericho tried to edge a razor away from the rope but Cassidy got out and Superman punched Jericho. Jericho fell into Mimosa so Cassidy won the match.
