Various Square Enix developers have teased their plans for 2021 in a large group interview on Femitsu.
Naoki Yoshida, creator of Final Fantasy XIV and XVI, explained that 2021 would be the busiest year of her career, making various announcements for both games.
We already know that Square Enix will host a big event in February, when the new Final Fantasy XIV expansion potential will be announced.
Yoshinori Kitts, creator of the Final Fantasy VII remake, explained that another game is evolving, but we will have to wait longer for more details. He did not give specific hints when we can expect those details to be made public, but he said it would be included in the 2021 and above series.
