Jonathan Goodwin almost sent the judges of ‘America’s Got Talent’ into panic on Tuesday night’s show.
The doorman performed his action “Trial By Fire” for Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, Sofia Vergara and guest judge Kenan Thompson and kept everyone sitting on the edges of their seats so much that Mandel actually thought something was wrong.
Goodwin dipped himself in oil as he tried to escape everything from hangovers while his vision was limited and he was surrounded by fire.

“Do they have any medicine here?” Vergara asked. “I do not want to see this.”
When Goodwin’s suit was on fire, Mandel called for help: “He’s on fire, someone’s coming in … Why is everyone just standing there?”
Goodwin eventually escaped unharmed and Mandel joked, according to USA Today, “Well done. See what I did there with the fire? I thought you were in trouble. I find that great and I’m glad you’re alive.”
Klum chimed in, “How can you say anything negative about a man who sets himself on fire for us?”
Meanwhile, Vergara joked, “I’m so thankful I’m not your mother. It’s crazy.”

“AGT” judge Simon Cowell has been on leave after undergoing back surgery last week. Cowell fell while riding an electric bike, broke his back in several places and needed a metal stick.
Mandel told “Today” that he was “shocked” to find out the news.
‘I love the boy. He’s not only my boss and my co-worker, but he’s a good friend and I was so scared and so worried, but Simon is from another planet. He’s a great boy. “

The judge revealed that the Cowell is already running on and off and pleading how he would make an appearance before the season ends. “As much as it’s devastating, it’s also good news that he’s going to go well and make a complete recovery,” Mandel said.
Kelly Clarkson filled in for the Brit earlier last Tuesday.
