Longtime voice actor, producer, writer, and radio host Lazlow Jones has left Rockstar Games with the company after nearly 20 years. He had been a part of everyone Grand Theft Auto game since GTA 3 and had also worked on other Rockstar titles, including Red Dead Redemption II.

YouTuber GTAMen mocked the departure via Lazlow’s Linkedin Page, which revealed that he actually left the company in April of this year. According to the same page, he joined the company in April 2001, about six months before the release of Grand Theft Auto 3. A month before Lazlow left, co-founder of Rockstar Games, Dan Houser left the company as well.

Over the years, Lazlow has become a favorite of his antique as a radio DJ for almost every year. GTA play post-GTA 3. Play a fictional version of himself, Lazlow was often angry, grinning and annoying. His biggest in-game performance was in GTA V where he, for the first time in the series, was physically shown in film scenes and played a small role in the story. He also appeared in GTA Online’s nightclub update.

Lazlow and Rockstar have not officially commented on why he left the company. Kotaku has reached out to Rockstar and Lazlow for more information on the situation. Currently, Lazlow develops shows for both Netflix and Disney and does consulting work for an undisclosed video game company.
