Someone might think that Ford and Ram are now locked in a prehistoric name-game with their road f-road pickups, but that’s not the case. While the 2021 1500 TRX sounds like a play on TT Rex, Rama decided to name the TRX because it was something that already owns the automaker – the name of the facility. However, it seems that the designers felt that there was some similarity between the name and the title hunter if there was any evidence of a newly discovered Easter egg.
A video posted on Ketchmafrod’s Instagram account shows a unique Easter egg hidden under the hood of TRX – T. T with a wrapper between Rex’s razor-sharp teeth. Image of Rex. Blood dripping from Rex’s chin sells the beast’s ferocity. To find it, one has to not only open the hood but also lift the plastic engine shroud. It is located right next to Engine Bay. There is a good chance that some owners will never get it.
The Easter egg is just one shot in the Raptor’s bow as Ford is about to give the Raptor some hearty competition after being alone in space for so many years. T. Rex Easter eggs are definitely appropriate. Ram’s highlight is the engine – a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 borrowed from the brand’s Helicopter models that produces 702 horsepower (523 kW) and 650 pound-feet (881 Nm) of torque. It is significantly more than the Raptor, which uses twin-turbocharged-.-Liter V uses 505050 hp (5 335 kW) and 1010 lb-ft (1 1 Nm) of torque.
We look forward to seeing the face of the TRX and Raptor in the litigation of XF-ROAD tests and comparisons. The TRX is more powerful than the powerful 69,995 starting, but also more expensive. The 2020 Raptor is $ 16,000 cheaper to launch. However, that may change. On the same day Ram unveiled the TRX it was reported that Ford would present the next General Raptor with two engines, and one of them would be the supercharged V8. If that happens, expect Raptor’s price tag and performance to be more comparable to TRX.
