Zelda Williams spent Tuesday doing good on behalf of her late father, Robin Williams.
Her daughter announced today that she would pay tribute on her 69th birthday by donating $ 69.69 to “as many homeless shelters as she can.”
Today would have been Dad’s 69th birthday, so to honor him (and that glorious number), I will donate $ 69.69 to as many local homeless shelters as I can. Join me if you want, but anyway, know that I wish you all at least a hearty and immature laugh in Dad’s belly today ♥ ️

He even published receipts for several of them. A few:

After Zelda’s birthday tribute to her father on Tuesday, some of her supporters said they had been inspired to make their own contributions. And some chimed in with their own heartwarming memories and thoughts of their Oscar-winning father.
I met your dad when he was 12 years old at a bicycle race in Austin! My dad also rode that day. I was so excited to meet him, he is my hero. He signed my favorite jacket and took this photo with me. It is one of my most precious memories and today I will donate in his honor. pic.twitter.com/jSc6iAXEbM

I had the privilege of meeting your father when I was 23 years old. I will be 34 next month and it remains, to this day, one of my best memories. Thanks for sharing it with all of us. This is beautiful and you are an amazing woman.
