Zack Snyder shows new images of Snyder Cut’s Superman black suit

Fans were finally able to see images of Superman’s black suit in action from the Snyder cut on Saturday. Director Zack Snyder showed the video during a panel at Justice Con where he spoke about the Justice League Snyder Cutwhat will premiere on HBO in 2021.

In the video, Alfred Pennyworth (Jeremy Irons) from Batman meets the Man of Steel (Henry Cavill). Superman stops at the Bruce Wayne complex to speak to Alfred.

“I assume you are Alfred?” Superman says. Most notably, Superman’s superhero costume is very different from the version that fans saw in the original Justice League movie.

During the panel, Snyder also discussed details about the suit. Snyder explained that the black suit makes more sense for the plot because it is part of Superman’s resurrection, and the traditional blue and red suit had been destroyed by Doomsday.

However, the director had to film the scene in Superman’s original blue and red suit because the studio was against the black suit.

“I would argue for the black suit all the time and they told me it was not a good idea … I knew it was the right evolution for him after he rose from the dead. But the perception of the black suit was fair.” You’re trying to make the movie dark and not hilarious, ” said Snyder.

In 2019, Snyder had already shown a version of the Snyder Cut black suit that hadn’t finished in the Justice League movie directed by Joss Whedon. Snyder had to abandon the film project due to personal problems, and Whedon finished directing.

Snyder has some pretty strong words for anyone who thinks he’ll be using Joss Whedon’s footage in Snyder Cut.

“It would destroy the movie,” Snyder said during the panel. “I would set it on fire before using a single frame that I didn’t photograph.”

Snyder also said during the panel that the final name of the film is still being worked on, implying legal problems. So, for now, he calls it Zack Snyder’s Justice League.

A full preview of Zack Snyder’s Justice League will be released that will be released in DC FanDome in August.

Fans took to Twitter on Saturday with their reactions to the new video of Superman’s black suit.

“They took one of the existing Superman suits and made it black! Wow! I have to think about whether I can handle the changes,” wrote one.

Another wrote, “After four years of speculating and wanting, we finally see it!”
