director Zack Snyder helped spread the news that HBO Max exchanged Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice for the Ultimate Edition. This new edition comes more than a month before the DC FanDome virtual event where Snyder will screen new footage from The Snyder Cut, which is slated to hit HBO Max in 2021. So how exactly did Snyder let us know that the Ultimate Edition is now ? available to stream?
the BvS The director wasted no time in making it known that his 2016 DCEU photo was available to air during the long holiday weekend. On Twitter, Snyder wrote: “Excited that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition now airs exclusively on @HBOMax. ”
To really close the deal, Snyder included a new poster made special for the Ultimate Edition launch. The poster features Ben Affleck like Batman with the phrase: “Of course he’s real. He’s on HBO Max,” he put up. HBO Max also announced the arrival of Ultimate Edition to the platform on their Instagram, focusing its legend on the three-hour runtime.

the BvS Ultimate Edition returns a plethora of pre-cut moments to the Snyder movie. Bows like Lex Luthor’s (Jesse Eisenberg) plot to end Superman (Henry Cavill) make more sense and feel more developed. In addition, moments of global construction of DCEU, such as Jenna MaloneThe appearance as STAR Labs coach Jenet Klyburn is also added again. For any DCEU fan, or more specifically, Snyder, Batman, or Superman fan looking to reunite with BvS, Ultimate Edition is a must see.
