There’s nothing like the feeling of discovering a great new song – just ask twin brothers Tim and Fred Williams, who documented their reactions for the first time while listening to classic hits on YouTube.
The 21-year-old sibling, who posts under TwinsthenewTrend, has gone viral in recent months for her “First Time Hearing” side series, where she recorded her precious reactions and comments while discovering music by icons such as Dolly Parton, Stevie Wonder, and Queens.
In late July, the Williams brothers – who grew up mostly listening to rap – released a particularly memorable clip of themselves for the first time after Phil Collins’ debut single “In the Air Tonight”.
“This is like a WWE entrance. I could see someone running down the ring,” says Tim Williams early in the unholy trail.
But the real fun begins with the intense drumming, when the brothers really start to feel the classic track. “I never saw anyone drop a beat in the song in three minutes,” says Fred Williams. “That’s unique.”
