Google suffered a worldwide outcry on Monday that took over several services, including YouTube, Gmail and Google Drive offline.
According to Google, the service has been restored. The company’s workspace status dashboard shows that all its services are now backed up and running as usual.
Some people on social media reported issues with the platform on Monday morning, with Gmail, YouTube and Google Drive, all showing more messages without disclosure.
According to Down Detector, a site that collects reports of service online service shutdowns, problems with the platform at about 6:30 p.m.
Google later confirmed the outage, saying that all services, including its calendar and video-conferencing applications, were facing downtime.
“We’re all clear people!” Google tweeted just after 8am ET. “Thank you for being with us.”
The company has not yet given a reason for the outage.
Some of the largest US companies rely on Google services, including Uber, Netflix and Twitter.
