A mention for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword on Nintendo Switch has appeared on Amazon UK.
The port has not yet been formally confirmed by Nintendo, but at the time of writing page is still live (thanks, The Mirror). There’s not even a rough release date attached, unfortunately – although scrolling down to the product details gives it a very long release date from placeholder January 1, 2030 – but the site is currently taking pre-orders for a price of £ 70.
Rumors of a Skyward Sword port have been circulating for a while, and while we often find this type of leak, it turns out to be true, it’s best to forget now on the side of caution and wait for official confirmation from Nintendo before you get hope te high.
This is not the only unannounced game that has recently popped up on Amazon UK. The retailer also reported for a mention Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered. Although release dates like artwork are never set in stone – we often see details about placeholders until they end – Amazon lists the game as a release for £ 35 on November 13, 2020, adding fuel to the speculative fires that the remaster is on its way.
ICYMI, Very Zelda-like Oceanhorn 2: Knights of the Lost Realm releases Apple Arcade exclusivity and comes to Nintendo Switch later this year. Oceanhorn 2 was released in 2019 exclusively on Apple’s gaming subscription service, an unlimited Zelda clone, but one that has been generally well received.
