If you’ve ever wanted a Corvette or Camaro engine in a Chevrolet Silverado body, we have good news to share. This is the Yenko Chevy Silverado with a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 LT1 engine under the hood that generates 800 horsepower.

Fast trucks are all the rage these days, and Specialty Vehicle Engineering, basically a hidden division of General Motors at this point, has come out once again. The Yenko Silverado is the last vehicle to bear the Yenko name after many Camaro and Corvette Models. But SVE also worked with GMC Canyon to create a Syclone of today, too.

As for this creation, SVE modified many of the mechanical parts to increase power. A forged crankshaft, pistons, port heads and stainless steel head are just a few of the highlights. The exterior is fairly simple, but it projects a boss presence with darkened elements, sturdy wheels, and some beautiful dual tailpipes. The Yenko Silverado probably sounds even better.

I love that the tailgate receives special treatment.

Of course, some Yenko S / C stripes run along the side and the tailgate features the Yenko name so that others know this is not your average workhorse. Inside, more Yenko insignia and sweet houndstooth upholstery cover the seats, but more boring leather options are available, if you like.

The price? SVE did not say so. However, their creations are generally not cheap, and the company only plans to build 50 of them for the 2021 model year. Talk to an affiliated GM dealer to order one because these Yenko Silverados will go absolutely fast, literally.
