Yellowstone Volcano: ‘Greatest Destruction Ever’ Warning Known as ‘Rising Magma Sign’ | Science | News

The caldera inside Yellowstone National Park is called Supervision because of its ability to bring numerous global catastrophes in the event of an accident. It was formed during the last three major events in the last 2.1 million years, with lava creeks erupting about 630,000 years ago. Located below the states of Wyoming, Montana and Idaho, the area is constantly monitored by the USGS (United States Geological Survey) for indications that history may repeat itself.

Science writer Brian Walsh explores the possibility of cool details in the recently promoted book ‘End Times: A Brief Guide to the World’.

He wrote: “The Yellowstone eruption has never been experienced by humanity.

“The first will be an increasingly strong earthquake, an indication that magma was rushing towards the surface beneath Yellowstone.

“Then the magma will dissolve into the earth’s toxic air and the Titanic will explode from the ground.

“It will continue for days and bury Yellowstone in lava within a radius of 40 miles.”

Mr Wallace said “the devastation around Yellowstone would be just the beginning,” adding that the catastrophe would “bury in the toxic volcanic ash in three large parts of Colorado, Wyoming and Utah.”

He added: “Depending on the weather conditions, most of the Midwest will get a few inches.

“But along the coast – where most Americans live – most of the time, as soon as a cloud of ash spreads, it will eat away at the dust.”

“Crops will be destroyed, fodder will be contaminated.

“Power lines and electrical transformers will be ruined, potentially knocking out most of the grid.”

According to Mr. Walsh, “if eruptions occur during the summer, the effects could be felt globally”, as the toxic cloud blocks sunlight and can “submerge global temperatures” for years.

He added: “Rain will fall quickly. That may be enough to kill tropical rainforests.

“Agriculture can fall, it can start in the Midwest.

Citing a group of researchers in a 2015 report from the European Science Foundation, Mr. Walsh agreed that the suicide at Yellowstone would be “the greatest destruction since the beginning of civilization.”

But the USGS says there is no need to fear.

Government agency experts estimate the probability of an outbreak of 730,000 in any given year.

And a recent study has also suggested that hotspots may be in a declining state at present.

The discovery was based on an analysis of volcanic deposits spread over thousands of kilometers of the region.
